The Workun Garrick Partnership was selected to modernize the two-storey high school and add a new gathering space, kitchen, chapel and administration suite to the facility. The modernization included the restacking of the classrooms and a complete mechanical and electrical retrofit. As part of the project, the school’s washrooms were brought up to current building codes and the existing gymnasium, fitness room, library, music room and drama room were also renovated. The project was completed in organized phases to allow normal activities to continue throughout the school year with the bulk of the work completed over holiday periods.
