GEF Seniors Housing - McQueen Place Lodge
The project included 120 units designed to accommodate the needs of the elderly and aging in place. Each unit was designed to accommodate the needs of a handicapped resident, if required. Twelve units were designed to accommodate clients with wheelchair needs and 12 units were designed to accommodate double occupancy.
The scope of services provided include the preparation of a Feasibility Study, evaluation of existing site, zoning, design options and estimated cost for development. The Workun Garrick Partnership provided complete Architectural and Engineering Consulting Services; including project cost control, submissions for zoning approval, assisting the client with application for funding, complete services for design, working drawings, specifications, tender and construction supervision.
